Okay, it's not a black diamond, but this original designer ring by Robert Lang named "Lavender Symphony" is so stunning and magnificent we had to show it on the website. In the center of it all is a 9.6mm Grade AAA Genuine Black Tahitian Pearl with lustrous hues of purples and pinks. Then, most amazing of all, the pearl is flanked by AN EXQUISITE-MATCHED PAIR OF TRULY RARE NATURAL PURPLE-BLUE (violet) GENUINE SAPPHIRES!!!! Excellent full round cut with extra faceting and excellent gem clarity further enhance the rich natural color and radiant sparkle of the these precious gemstones. The bold trellis-style setting is fabricated in 14 kt white gold for strength.

Rose Cut Fancy Black Diamonds
The Rose Cut
resembles a rose bud. This famous cut originated in India by the 14th
century and is one of the oldest styles of traditional diamond
cutting. In recent years, the Rose Cut has experienced a revival in
the jewelry trade, and most recently with respect to fancy black
diamonds. The bottom of the Rose Cut gemstone is flat (called a "flat
back") while the top is domed with up to 24 triangular facets which
rise in a common point at the very peak. The Rose Cut makes the stone
look larger than its carat weight and enhances the gem's brilliance and
sparkle.
The Fancy Black Diamonds
in Lang's Designs
Unless otherwise specified, as with nearly all fancy black diamonds available in today's rare colored diamond market, all black diamonds incorporated by Robert Lang in his jewelry are naturally-occuring black color diamonds that underwent high pressure high temperature (HPHT) in the rough to even out the black hue prior to faceting and polishing. The black diamonds were not subjected to further treatments or enhancements. These fancy black diamonds are very rare fine quality.
